The Post-Cardiac Arrest Syndrome (PCAS) - Pilot Study
The PCAS multicenter observational pilot study was performed to prove feasibility and provide the rationale for the second and the third phase. Outcomes of PCAS-study provided justification for detailed analysis of hemodynamic, metabolic, respiratory parameters as well as need for verification and validation of early therapeutic strategy during PCAS. The study proved detailed monitoring of PCAS may rely on novel calculator, worked out by the team, based on non-invasive monitoring parameters.
